About This Opportunity
The Online Operations team is the global group responsible for overall health, stability, and performance of the site. The team provides 24x7 business and technology support and owns the eCommerce business process support, application, and infrastructure support functions.

As the Manager of the Release Team, you will build and lead the team that will:
- Ensure a high quality eCommerce/Multi-Channel platform with industry leading stability.
- Understand changes happening in the business and across the technology platform.
- Partner with the multi-channel business innovation team to assess and manage the impact of future development.
- Design, implement, maintain and support the Release program for Target.com and other emerging digital platforms (mobile, tablet, social, etc).
As a manager in our Online Operations organization, you will:
- Build a high performing team of industry experts.
- Understand the business to ensure strong service levels and satisfaction.
- Drive rapid engagement and collaboration across teams and partners to meet goals and ensure operational excellence.
- Understand the complexity and challenges in developing a global team with multiple vendor partners.
- Proactively recommend and institute process, tool, and methodology improvements based on industry best practices and present proposed solutions to various teams in the organization.
- Maintain visibility across business and technology initiatives to optimize release schedules.
- Establish uniform Online Operations practices and build automated and proactive processes.
- Evaluate metrics and engineer new ones to measure the quality and efficiency of the team.
- Provide input to resource planning, cost estimation, budget development and cost control.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years leadership experience
- Minimum of 2 years in an Online Operations role supporting a high traffic and industry leading web/digital platform, specifically eCommerce, gaming, banking, news, social or entertainment
- Minimum of 8 years progressively responsible technology experience
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, presentation and written communication skills
