About This Opportunity

The Target Technology Services (TTS) team designs and creates innovative solutions for a variety of applications, platforms and environments. TTS not only gives Target a competitive advantage in the marketplace, but also enhances the guest experience through the smart use of technology in the retail industry.

Provides leadership in the development of systems and processes to enable the procurement and management of technology related hardware, software and services agreements for all of Target Corporation. Also plays a role in the delivery of medium and large projects and services within TTS which may include, but is not limited to, Financial Analysis, RFP Development, Negotiations, Contract Management, Process Engineering, Program and Project Management, and Service Level Management. Provide partnership and support to TTS Managers, business clients, infrastructure and development teams on all aspects of technology acquisition and vendor management functions. Position requires TTS technical knowledge and Target business experience to develop cross-functional solutions and agreements to challenges. Follows TTS standards and best practices while working with minimal direction. Interacts with other infrastructure teams, development teams, business clients or client representatives at Target, and vendor partners.

- Provide support to development and infrastructure groups, maintain a working knowledge of the business operations, technologies, and industry standards and communicate tactical direction to leadership, clients and vendor partners
- Use standards, tools and best practices to assist in the procurement of products and services, management of agreements, coordination of projects, management of processes and delivery of services
- Partner with management and clients to define project scope, establish timelines, and communicate status
- Negotiate billing, contractual, and performance disputes for technology. Suggest and negotiate relevant service level performance guidelines for effective performance within service contracts
- Track project financial data for projects and services as appropriate
- Provide project and/or service delivery communications and updates to stakeholders

Requirements

- 4-year degree or equivalent business experience
- Three to five years of technology experience
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to perform analysis, define new processes and drive technology initiatives and projects
- Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills
- Solid ability to effectively multitask
- Ability to drive project work to meet or exceed expectations
