- Develop, monitor, and maintain multidimensional and relational data marts and web based and SAS based reporting tools that facilitates analysis and decision making at Financial and Retail Services (FRS)
- Help to establish and uphold best practices and standard operating procedures for the FRS-BI team
- Participate in the design and creation of technical strategies and requirements for data architecture
- Perform complex analysis for tracing data lineage, business rule compliance, and overall data accuracy
- Design new and improved solutions through innovative and practical application of new technology as well as legacy systems to enhance applications and the architecture platform
- Utilize strong analytical skills to provide real solutions for both technical and business related issues associated with the implementation of decision support and business intelligence tools
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or Information Systems
- At least 2 years of experience with SAS, Oracle 9i databases, data mining, and data warehousing concepts
- Experience writing optimized SQL statements and analyzing query performance
- Experience in multidimensional online analytical processing (OLAP) database design and multidimensional cube construction
- Strong communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft XP Web components, ReportNet, Webfocus, SAS Web Reports.
- Programming experience with Java, Perl, VB, .NET, or ASP
